We are seeking an Opportunity Centre Co-ordinator  (30 hours a week) with experience in providing advice and practical support to unemployed people.   Our prime requirement is for a person who is committed to working with the Chinese and Vietnamese community and who has a proven track record of advocacy on behalf of clients in either a statutory or voluntary setting. You will be capable of working on your own, dealing with considerable pressure of work and committed to a team approach.  The successful candidate will also have good interpersonal skills, an excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin).  Knowledge of the Employment & Training field and the Government’s Welfare System would be an advantage.

東倫敦育華中文學校 (Chinese Independent School Of Tower Hamlet)，成立於一九八六年。為倫敦最早期創辦的中文學校之一，兼且榮獲英國政府認可的優質學術評估獎，更與地方政府定期舉辦教師培訓課程以保障及提高教師質素。可謂師資優良、教學嚴謹; 經驗豐富、校舍寬潔 - 位於東倫敦市中心，地址為St. Paul's Way Community School, Shelmerdine Close, London E3 4AN，鄰近地鐵站DLR線Devons Road，交通便利。 20多年來，已培育不少華人子弟、社會精英及專業人士，為英國主流社會及華人社區貢獻良多。

踏入暑假尾聲，莘莘學子又要收拾心情，迎接開學的日子，而父母亦為在英國的子女如何能保留中華文化精髓而費煞思量。

育華中文學校秉承過往使命，對倫敦華人及其子女提供優質的教學服務。現鐵定於2010年9月18日（星期六）開展新一年度的中文教育，以嶄新的管理哲學，配合小班教學，加上師生比例恰當，務求讓學生能更易掌握中文，活學活用。繁簡文字、國粵雙語、各適其式，趣味無窮。此外，亦特別重視學生在德、智、體、群、美上的全面發展。而每年一度的家長日，老師們與家長們互動交流，詳細地討論子女在校的學習進度及品行。

本校現正招收學生，計有4至5歲的幼兒唱遊班、兒童普通話班（一至七年級）、兒童廣東話班（一至十年級，包括會考GCSE班）。上課時間逢星期六早上十時正至中午十二時二十分，全年學費僅收100英鎊（已包含書薄費）。此外，學生更可免費參與不同類型的課外活動，包括有中國民族舞、功課輔導班、足球及乒乓球興趣組等等。

又因應家長需求，另設成人普通話班，12堂課只收100英鎊（每堂兩小時）。而家長亦可免費參與太極班及初級英文班等等。

新學年快臨，為配合教學需要，本校現正招聘合約制中文老師，包括廣東話老師2名，任教5-8歲班級及普通話老師2名，分別任教7-9歲及10-13歲班級。教學時間由2010年9月18日起逢星期六每周二小時，薪酬面議。以上職位入職條件為基本電腦技能、流利廣東話、中英文寫作水平良好、最少有1年相關教學經驗、能獨立制定課程內容、充足備課技巧、有團隊合作精神、對英國中文教育有負擔及能在英國合法工作者。
